More terrain opens across SkiBig3 in Banff and Lake Louise

The winter season is officially underway at SkiBig3 in Banff National Park. All three resorts - Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Mt. Norquay continue to welcome riders back to the mountain for the 23/24 season. With fresh snowfall across Banff and Lake Louise this week, more terrain has opened up across the three resorts, allowing skiers and snowboarders the perfect opportunity to continue to warm up those legs and start shredding for the winter season.

After an awesome opening day at Banff Sunshine, the resort has continued to receive the fresh pow with up to 28cm falling at the resort this week. Alongside the snowfall, the mountain operations team has been working hard to keep the slopes in top condition. And the good news is that two more chairlifts, Jackrabbit and Wolverine, are now officially open for the season!

Lake Louise has also seen lots of fresh snowfall this week, receiving up to 34cm. The resort's strong snowmaking efforts have helped to keep the groomed trails in excellent shape and open up some new terrain. Get ready for some backside adventures as the Ptarmigan Chair, Pika Run, and Temple Lodge are open and ready to welcome visitors.

The Cascade chairlift is spinning with one run open and the Sundance Magic Carpet area is ready for beginners to practice their turns. If you're keen to get those tricks going, Mt. Norquay also has 6 terrain park features waiting for you to hit on lower Cascade.
