SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the seasonal position of Snow School Coordinator to join our team for the 2026–27 winter season.
Reporting to the Manager of People Operations & Snow School and the Reservations Manager, this position supports both the Snow School and Reservations teams. The primary focus of the role is to ensure the effective sale, scheduling, and fulfillment of Snow School lessons and guiding experiences while fostering collaboration between departments.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time Seasonal
- Season Dates: Late September 2026 – Mid-April 2027
- Location: Banff, Alberta (Downtown Office)
- Wage: $20.50/hour + $1/hour retention bonus paid upon successful contract completion
- Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities
Snow School Support
- Assist with last-minute instructor hiring and contracting
- Review and update the annual Snow School training manual
- Coordinate Snow School staff onboarding and orientation
- Schedule meetings and training days with the Manager of People Operations & Snow School
- Manage and maintain instructor scheduling software
- Organize early-season Snow School product knowledge sessions for Reservations & Adventure Hub staff
- Manage instructor scheduling
- Provide on- and off-snow support for large groups
- Support the Nonstop Assisted Teaching Program
- Coordinate instructor uniforms and inventory
- Manage daily instructor assignments for multi-day, multi-family, and group bookings
- Work closely with the Sales team and tour operators
- Maintain Snow School procedures and documentation
- Process instructor payroll, commissions, and time-off tracking
- Track instructor waivers
- Monitor monthly Snow School sales incentives for Reservations & Adventure Hub teams
- Distribute guest surveys and monitor feedback
Reservations Support
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Create customized ski vacation quotes using the reservations booking system
- Book lodging, lift tickets, rentals, Snow School lessons, airport transfers, activities, and season passes
- Consult with guests to create personalized vacation packages
- Convert quotes into confirmed bookings and identify upselling opportunities
- Troubleshoot travel itinerary issues and provide exceptional guest service
- Follow up with guests regarding trip details and outstanding payments
- Coordinate third-party activity and shuttle bookings with partner suppliers
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to quickly learn reservation, ticketing, pass, and scheduling software
- Passion for skiing and/or snowboarding
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous reservations and scheduling experience preferred
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional attitude and presentation
- Self-motivated with a proactive, "go-getter" approach
- Previous experience in Snow School operations, hospitality, tourism, or the ski industry is considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Valid driver's licence with a clean three-year driving record is considered an asset
- Must reside in the Bow Valley
