SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time seasonal position of Reservations Agent to join our team for the 2026-27 winter season, running from early September until mid-April.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time Seasonal
- Season Dates: Early September 2026 through mid-April 2027
- Location: Banff, AB (Downtown Office)
- Wage: $18.50 + $1 per hour retention bonus paid upon contract completion
- Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week

Position Summary
Reporting to the Reservations Team Leads, the Reservations Agent is responsible for generating sales through the booking of ski vacation packages and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Based in our downtown Banff office, this role helps guests plan and book unforgettable ski vacations by providing expert advice, creating customized itineraries, and recommending the products and services that best fit their needs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying guest needs, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings while providing outstanding customer service.
The Reservations Agent works closely with other SkiBig3 departments and resort partners, including Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Mt. Norquay, along with Banff & Lake Louise Tourism members and local accommodation, activity, and transportation providers.
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure all team members have the knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
- Generate quotes for individual ski vacation packages, including lodging, lift tickets, equipment rentals, snow school programs, airport transfers, and non-ski activities.
- Promote and sell SkiBig3 season passes and related products.
- Consult with guests to create customized vacation packages tailored to their needs and expectations.
- Convert inquiries and quotes into confirmed bookings while identifying opportunities to upsell relevant products and services.
- Follow up with guests regarding quote status, trip details, and outstanding payments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to guest travel plans and itineraries. - Coordinate third-party activity, transportation, and attraction bookings with local partners.
- Work closely with the SkiBig3 Snow School team to confirm availability and book private lessons, camps, and adventure experiences.
- Maintain accurate guest records and booking information within reservation systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer, guest, patient-facing, or service-focused role is considered an asset.
- Passion for skiing and/or snowboarding is essential.
- Previous sales experience is preferred; experience within the travel, tourism, hospitality, or recreation industries is highly regarded.
- Friendly, professional, and personable with excellent guest service and telephone communication skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and create positive guest experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Extensive knowledge of Banff, Lake Louise, the ski resorts, and Bow Valley accommodations is an asset; however, training will be provided.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and the ability to learn new software and booking systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use available resources to resolve guest concerns
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Other Requirements:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be living in, or willing to relocate to, the Bow Valley prior to commencing employment.
