SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Business Development Coordinator to join our team from September 2026 through the end of April 2027.

Position Summary
Reporting primarily to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Coordinator supports SkiBig3's travel trade, partner sales, and group business operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining partner programs, managing sales administration, coordinating group logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for tour operators, travel partners, and group customers.
The role carries ownership of several core business functions, including partner programs, contracts, reporting, and group logistics, and is responsible for managing these areas from setup through execution and seasonal wrap-up.
The role also provides reservations support as required, helping deliver exceptional guest experiences from inquiry through arrival. This position is based on a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional evening and weekend commitments during peak group arrivals, welcome events, and partner activities.
Organizational Relationships
SkiBig3 Departments, Banff Sunshine Village, Lake Louise Ski Resort, Mt. Norquay, third-party tour operators, hotels, activity providers, local businesses, group leaders, and travel trade partners.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the partner email inbox, ensuring timely responses and routing inquiries appropriately.
- Take ownership of assigned programs, processes, and operational activities, managing them independently from setup through seasonal execution and wrap-up.
- Act as a primary point of contact for tour operators and industry partners regarding bookings, logistics, amendments, and cancellations.
- Load and maintain seasonal rates, promotions, and booking programs within internal systems.
- Generate, distribute, and track contracts for tour operators, hotels, and local business partners.
- Administer SkiBig3 partner programs including Local Business Pass, OTC Lift Tickets, and Pass Perks.
- Coordinate partner onboarding, communications, enrollment, fulfillment, and reporting.
- Monitor partner participation, usage, and inventory levels, proactively supporting engagement and re-engagement throughout the season.
- Maintain upcoming group reports and distribute regular forecasts and operational updates to resort partners.
- Coordinate group logistics including rental reporting, resort communications, confirmations, and arrival preparation.
- Administer familiarization (FAM) trips and school groups, ensuring lift tickets, rentals, lessons, and related services are organized and delivered accurately.
- Attend and support group welcome events and partner functions as required.
- Provide reservations support through phone, email, and live chat channels.
- Create and book custom ski vacation packages including accommodation, lift tickets, rentals, Snow School lessons, airport transportation, activities, and season passes.
- Generate quotes, assist guests in selecting products and services that best suit their vacation needs, and convert inquiries into bookings where appropriate.
- Resolve guest and partner concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support the Reservations, Operations, and Guest Experience teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation across all assigned programs and initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
- Organized, efficient, responsible, and highly detail-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous administrative or coordination experience required.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, reservations, sales, or travel trade environments is considered an asset.
- Experience in a resort-based reservations or call-centre environment is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Inntopia or other reservation systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with team members.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage processes, programs, and priorities independently while being accountable for outcomes.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Professional phone manner and a positive, service-focused attitude.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during peak group arrival periods.
Other Requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must reside in the Bow Valley.
