Skijoring

Witness Skijoring during Banff and Lake Louise's annual SnowDays Festival. Teams of athletes and horses from Skijor Canada will descend on the town of Banff for a breath-taking exhibition of horse-riding, trick-riding, and ski stunts. Join us to watch Alberta cowgirls, cowboys and Skijorlings and their horses, partner with trick skiers to thrill and entertain the crowd.

There are some changes to the event this year with the course moving to the 200-300 block of Banff Avenue. To watch all the action live from the sidelines, head to the Banff High School Field. If you prefer to watch indoors, catch the live stream, interviews, and replays at participating venues throughout Banff, including: Melissa’s Restaurant & Bar, The Moxy, Rose & Crown, Elk & Oarsman Restaurant & Sports Bar, The Canadian Brewhouse, PARK Distillery Restaurant + Bar, Bear Street Tavern, Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant, The Eddie Burger + Bar, High Rollers Bowling & Pizza, or The Dusty Boot.
