Flying Canoë Volant
New to Banff in 2026, Flying Canoë Volant is a celebration of culture, community and winter wonder. Inspired by the French Canadian, First Nations and Métis legend of The Flying Canoe, Central Park will transform into an interactive environment, filled with light, story, music and movement.
Explore interactive artworks and light installations throughout the Park, including a 360º projective dome that will visually bring the legend to life. Meet in Tipis and Trapper's tents to learn, connect and share stories rooted in Indigenous and Francophone-Metis culture.
Date: Feb 21 - March 1 2026
Time: Thursday & Sundays, 6-9pm. Friday & Saturdays, 6-10pm.

Banff Sunshine: Holy Bowly
Hosted all across North America, Holy Bowly embodies all that is well with snowboarding and delivers some freakin’ awesome footage. Back at Banff Sunshine, Holy Bowly features park builds as you’ve never seen before. Something like scooping out the mountain and then snowboarding on it.
