SnowDays – Ice Magic
January 19 - January 30

**We regret to inform you that despite Banff Lake Louise Tourism’s best efforts, challenges related to COVID-19 have resulted in the cancellation of Ice Magic.**
The Ice Magic Ice Carving Competition is a perfectly magical winter experience that awaits you in Lake Louise where ice serves as a fascinating medium of artistry and architectural design. Watch incredible ice carvings take shape under the precise hands of an all-Canadian cast of skilled artists.
The alpine town of Lake Louise comes alive during the 12-day Ice Magic ice carving exhibition. Walk through a winter wonderland and explore the magnificent ice sculptures at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
About SnowDays
From January 19-30 Banff and Lake Louise come alive with the annual SnowDays celebration. The streets of downtown Banff transform into larger-than-life winter galleries with giant snow sculptures to be found throughout; Lake Louise turns into a frozen wonderland with the sparkling ice sculptures of Ice Magic; the thrill of Skijoring and the SnowDays Play Zone come alive in the heart of Banff; and speciality cocktails and menus can be found at an array of restaurants for the Tribute Craft Spirits Festival.
