Banff and Lake Louise are highly accessible. Frequent airport shuttles from Calgary take you directly to your hotel. Banff is very walkable, with easy access to local transit. Shuttles to Lake Louise are also available and can be booked online with your SkiBig3 package.

Travelling by Airport Shuttle

Travelling by Car

Driving to Banff & Lake Louise couldn’t be easier!  The 90 minute trip from the Calgary International Airport (YYC) to Banff National Park skirts around the city of Calgary and heads directly west into the mountains. No high mountain passes, no grid-lock traffic. You’ll be treated to the wide-open, fully divided TransCanada Highway (Hwy #1) directly from the Calgary to the town of Banff.

The hamlet of Lake Louise is a further 40 minutes west.  Along the way you’ll have many options to pull off the highway to soak in the views.

If you are driving, you will need to stop at the East Gate entrance to Banff National Park to get a park pass. You can purchase this in advance online.
