To celebrate, Banff & Lake Louise run a month-long festival to highlight the season’s very best. Including everything from World Cup Racing to fine dining, events are sure to please every member of your crew.
The festival starts with Bon Appétit Banff running from November 12th to 22nd. During this culinary showcase, over 30 restaurants in Banff and Lake Louise create special tasting menus of various courses to highlight what they do best. Beyond tasting menus, a number of other culinary outings are planned including a Pop Up Italian Kitchen and Dine Around Banff Experiences which include an interpretive guide to escort you to 3 different dining locations, to enjoy a food course and cocktail at each. Think pub-crawl for Foodies: genius![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column border_color=”” visibility=”” width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”23826″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”400X300″][mk_fancy_title tag_name=”h3″ style=”false” color=”#393836″ size=”15″ font_weight=”inherit” font_style=”normal” txt_transform=”none” letter_spacing=”0″ margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”18″ font_family=”none” align=”center”]Lake Louise Ski Resort World Cup Racing

On November 27th and 28th, the historic Cave and Basin will become a posh tasting venue for Alberta beers accompanied by local food fare provided by various Banff pubs and restaurants. It may well be the perfect après for the Lake Louise Alpine Ski World Cup racing. The men’s races will run that same weekend whilst the women will hit the slopes the weekend of December 4th.
In to the mix are also a number of holiday themed events – most notably the Banff Christmas Market and the Santa Claus Parade of Lights. The Market runs November 20th to 22nd, giving shoppers the opportunity to pick up Rocky Mountain themed gifts by local artisans. The Santa Claus Parade of Lights takes over Banff Avenue on December 5th – a sight sure to impress everyone!
