Winter's on its way at Banff and Lake Louise

Hold onto your hats! Winter is officially on the way at Banff and Lake Louise. Two resorts at SkiBig3 received their first fairy dust sprinkling in Banff National Park this week.

Thanks to the high elevation, both Banff Sunshine and Lake Louise Ski Resort received their first snowfall for the winter season. With opening day just two months away, the resorts are starting to make headlines as everyone starts to get excited for the upcoming winter. Take a look at the first snowfall of the season below:

Tentative opening dates

As we begin to get closer to dusting off those skis, breaking in the snowboard boots, and pulling out your winter gear from under the bed you can start to get ready for the below-tentatively scheduled opening dates:

 

 

 

 

  • Banff Sunshine: November 10, 2023

 

 

  • Lake Louise Ski Resort: November 10, 2023

 

 

  • Mt. Norquay: November 4, 2023
