The Best Vegan Spots in Banff

Gone are the days of heading to a restaurant and the only vegan option is a green salad. Here in Banff, we try and accommodate everyone, including offering a wide variety of vegan food options. Not only have we found a variety of vegan meals, but they are delicious too.

Described as Banff’s very own vegetarian oasis, Nourish Bistro is a fully vegetarian and/or vegan restaurant. Nourish Bistro has taken everyday dishes and put their own twist on each and every one, as well as tailoring them to their vegetarian/vegan diners.  

A must try is their famous Mac ’N’ Squeeze and to finish, a slice of Nutella Cheesecake – Yes! both vegan.

Not forgetting the importance of a drink with dinner, Nourish Bistro offers an inventive range of craft cocktails and other household drinks.

Head to Park Distillery and you’ll be greeted with a signature menu dedicated to vegan/vegetarian diners.  

Whether you’re in search of a hearty meal, a small snack or some delicious (Banff Famous) cocktails; you won’t struggle to find a vegan option.  

You’ll find a delicious Vegan Burger and Mac and Cheese on the menu, with a range of suggested drink pairings – their oat milk shaft is a must try!

Vegan never tasted so good at Farm and Fire. Yes! another great place to hit when looking for delicious vegan options in town. Offering a range of vegan meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will not be disappointed.  

Their vegan omelet is known as one of the best. 

 

 

A Fine Dining Vegan Experience at Juniper Bistro

First, you’ll be drawn in by the grand panoramic views of the town, and you’ll want to sit down after looking at the range of delicious vegan options. Both their brunch and dinner menu offer an abundant range of plant-based and sustainable sourced proteins.

Of course, our local cafes offer a range of vegan options, from coffee to bites and slices.  

Wild Flour Bakery is known for its vegan goodies. Their focaccia, baked goods, and veggie wraps are sure to impress.  

Mountain Folk Coffee and Whitebark Café also have a range of vegan options, as well as delicious matcha lattes.  

With a range of different cafes to choose from, you can try a different one everyday!
