Snowy March Returns to SkiBig3

Did you know that March and April are historically the snowiest months in the Canadian Rockies? This year is proving no different, as a week of storms has delivered deep accumulations right across Banff National Park. With over 65 cm (25 inches) of fresh snow falling across our three resorts in the past seven days, March is off to an incredible start.

Looking Ahead: More Snow on the Horizon

The upcoming forecast suggests another active week ahead, with potential midweek snowfall bringing even more fresh turns to the slopes. Mild temperatures and snowy periods into the weekend should keep conditions ideal for skiing and riding, while clearer breaks between storms promise spectacular mountain views.

If you still have days left on your Ikon Pass or Mountain Collective, now’s the time to head north to the Canadian Rockies. With prime snow conditions and spring skiing at its best, there’s no better time to hit the slopes.
