The term originates from renowned skier and powder enthusiast, Fizzabelle Sparkleton, who visited the three SkiBig3 resorts earlier this season. Sparkleton was making fresh powdery turns when she took in a breath, and a few snowflakes landed on her tongue. The snow surprised Sparkleton with its dry, light, and bubbly texture. From that moment, the term Prosecco Powder™ was born and is gaining traction with Bow Valley locals and visitors alike. “We are delighted to be recognised as the official destination for Prosecco Powder™,” said Pete Woods, President of SkiBig3.
