5 Ways to Experience Mt. Norquay at Night

Here in Banff National Park, there's a whole world to discover after the sun sets on the SkiBig3 slopes, and we're not just talking about downtown Banff's nightlife. In fact, the closest resort to the town of Banff, Mt. Norquay, is just a 10-minute journey away and offers unique nighttime activities and entertainment. From one-of-a-kind events to hot laps by moonlight, here are five ways to have a great time at Mt. Norquay at night.

Mt. Norquay is the only ski resort in the national park to offer night skiing! From mid-December to early Spring (this will vary from season to season), skiers and riders can take to the slopes on Friday and Saturday nights to enjoy fresh cord on the Casacade Chair. Come check it out between 5-9 pm, valid with a SkiBig3 Lift Ticket if you have already used your scan at Mt. Norquay or one of our other resorts previously within the same day.

2. Night Tubing

Enjoy eight lanes to glide or spin down with friendly staff to help you out. Tubing is suitable for all ages, including children aged 4 and over, however they must be a minimum of 42 inches tall. The Snow Tube Park also includes a small sliding area, and a kids’ play area. Tubing is included with a SkiBig3 Lift Ticket if you have already been skiing during the day at Mt. Norquay or one of our other resorts.
