With 27cm of the fresh stuff (all natural!) on Wednesday and another 12cm in the past 24 hours, they’re in good shape and starting off strong for the winter. They even have features in their terrain park up and ready to go.

They will be running the Cascade chairlift from 11am to 4pm on opening day, and from 9am to 4pm, 7 days a week, from this Saturday, November 4.

Banff Sunshine

Keep your eyes on your social feeds in case the other Big3 resorts follow suit with surprise early open dates.

Banff Sunshine has a tentative opening date of November 10th, but has been known to treat their guests in years past with an extra-long ski season to go along with their great light snow.

Update: Banff Sunshine has confirmed an early opening date for Wednesday, November 8th.
