This means skiers and snowboarders are eagerly anticipating that bittersweet time of year – the sweet spot of the season when the snow is still prime, while the days get longer to enjoy it. In fact, we’ve already been treated to a fantastic mix of both warm, sunny spring days, and deep snowfalls of fresh powder. Already this month, our resorts have seen up to 26cm of snow in 24 hours alone!
The SkiBig3 resorts are treated to an extra long ski season here in the Canadian Rockies. This year, Banff Sunshine Village will be open until May 21st, Lake Louise Ski Resort until May 6th, and Mt. Norquay’s lifts remain running until April 15th. It’s been a great season so far, and it doesn’t show any signs of letting up!
