Join the Easter Festivities at SkiBig3

Spring is here! The days are longer, the skies are bluer, the snow is softer, and the Easter bunny is prepping for another easter at SkiBig3.

If you are travelling with a family and looking for some fun activities, we have all the spots to catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny.

Check out family-friendly Easter events in Banff like Mt. Norquay’s slope-side egg hunt or the Banff Gondola’s kids ride free special. If you’re a foodie, indulge in a festive Easter Brunch with elaborate specials like Oreo French toast (at the Banff Park Lodge) or caffeinated cocktails at the Fairmont Banff Springs  Vermillion Room. Whichever way you choose to celebrate, there is a Banff Easter event for everyone.  

So, here it is – the essential list of Easter events in Banff you need to put in your basket this April.

 

 

Easter on the Mountains

Mt. Norquay – April 20th, 2025

Hop over to Norquay for one of the best events of the season – their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Open to all ages, there will be thousands of easter eggs hidden in the snow. Get your friends and family involved to find as many eggs as possible.

This year, Norquay are encouraging a minimum $5 donation per person, with proceeds going to the Banff Food Rescue.

There are only 200 spots available, so don’t forget to register early secure your place to find some delicious, sweet treats.

Time: 10 AM Sharp
Where: Cheat Creek (snowmobile path from Cascade to Spirit), check-in will be inside the lodge on the day of where we will give you all the information you need.

Banff Sunshine – April 20th, 2025

The Easter Bunny will be hopping around Banff Sunshine, to hand out chocolate easter eggs. Head to the top of the Strawberry chair, to find where the easter bunny has hidden some sweet treats.

The hunt doesn’t end there! Get your family/group together to embark on the egg-citing adventure. Hidden throughout the resort are 5 easter eggs. At each egg you are encouraged to take a photo and share it on socials @sunshinevillage.

One winner will be selected to win a prize! Get hunting.

Lake Louise Ski Resort – April 18th – 20th, 2025

The Easter Bunny will also be making his way to Lake Louise Ski Resort for the Easter long weekend. His basket will be filled with chocolate eggs, so be sure to find him hopping around the resort.

Catch the Easter Bunny skiing around the Lake Louise Ski Resort this long weekend between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm!

Easter in The Town of Banff

If you are looking for some Easter fun intown, we have you covered.

On Sunday April 20th, 2025, Crave Mountain Grill will be offering an Easter Buffet, with a selection of gourmet offerings. Of course! The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance, with an egg-citing easter egg hunt. There will be an ice cream sundae bar, with lots of live music to make the perfect Easter celebration.  

Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Pricing:

• Adults: $59

• Seniors (65+): $49

• Children (6-12): $25

• Children 5 & under: Free with a paying adult
