This past spring, That Mountain Life decided to venture north to Banff and Lake Louise for a one-week family-friendly ski trip in the Canadian Rockies. Arriving in April, in time for some spring skiing, the family revelled in a perfect week of soft, fresh powdery spring snow. They made the most of their time, not just skiing, but cramming in a ton of awesome activities too! With a jam-packed itinerary, Erich, Courtenay and kids explored all three resorts; Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Mt. Norquay thanks to their SkiBig3 Lift Tickets. From speedy groomer laps to catching air in the park, the whole family was stoked with the variety of runs which including a rope drop and fresh tracks on a 30cm powder day. August, the oldest of the three kids, even ventured into the famous Delirium Dive at Banff Sunshine with his dad.

With three energetic kids in tow, That Mountain Life explored what else Banff and Lake Louise had to offer. First up was a ride up the Banff Gondola to experience the boardwalk, taking the whole family to the top of Sulphur Mountain. After working up an appetite, they enjoyed a meal at the top (along with some spectacular views). The family squeezed in a bike tour, uncovering hidden gems and unexplored places. The crew dove into the local scene and created some unforgettable family memories together.
