Three Resorts, Endless Adventure

Mt. Norquay:
Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Banff, Norquay is perfect for those who want to maximize their ski time. Known for its family friendly vibe and fun night skiing. Beginners will appreciate the excellent learning areas, while seasoned skiers can take on the challenge of steeper runs.

Lake Louise Ski Resort:
The views at Lake Louise are truly unforgettable. As you carve down wide-open groomers or explore the back bowls, you’ll be surrounded by towering peaks and glaciers. With a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain, there’s something for everyone.

Banff Sunshine Village:
Sitting on the Continental Divide, Banff Sunshine offers the unique opportunity to ski between two provinces, Alberta and British Columbia. Known for its soft powder and diverse terrain, Sunshine is ideal for those looking to explore everything from gentle cruisers to exhilarating expert runs.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Ikon Pass

  • Get Equipped: SkiBig3 offers rental packages and lessons to help you make the most of your time on the slopes. Ikon Pass holders can also take advantage of SkiBig3’s deals for additional savings.
  • Hire a private guide. Beyond instructors to improve your skills, SkiBig3 offers on-mountain private guiding services. With almost 8000 acres of terrain, it’s hard to know where to start. Having a guide means you get straight to the good stuff, discovering those secret stashes, hidden photo stops, and the best terrain to suit your abilities you might otherwise miss out on. Plus, enjoy lift line priority so you can spend more time skiing and less time map-reading!
  • Plan Your Days: Use SkiBig3’s interactive trail maps to familiarize yourself with each resort.
  • Explore the Town of Banff: Your trip isn’t just about skiing. Take time to explore Banff’s vibrant après ski scene, with cozy restaurants, unique shops, and natural attractions like the Banff Upper Hot Springs.
