Banff Sunshine’s Super Angel LX Express Heated Bubble Chair Takes Flight!

This morning, at 11 AM, Banff Sunshine Village welcomed skiers and riders onto the much anticipated Super Angel LX Express Heated Bubble Chair! This state of the art six seater lift offers a warm and comfortable ride up to Sunshine’s expansive terrain, with heated bucket seats, footrests, and a sleek yellow weather protection bubble to keep you cozy all winter long.

A New Standard in Lift Technology

Replacing the iconic Angel Express quad, the new Super Angel LX combines the latest in lift technology with luxurious comfort, providing a smoother, faster, and quieter ride up the Rockies. The chair’s innovative design not only enhances comfort but also keeps you protected from the elements of the north as you take in Banff National Park’s stunning winter views.

The new Super Angel LX enhances the guest experience at Banff Sunshine with swift access to terrain, making it easier than ever to explore. With its combination of efficiency and comfort, it’s the perfect way to start the day, whether you’re carving laps or discovering new runs across Sunshine’s vast slopes.

A Perfect Day for the Super Angel’s Debut

Today at Banff Sunshine Village, the debut of the Super Angel Express LX was met with ideal early season conditions, setting the stage for an exciting opening.  Banff Sunshine hosted guests and VIPs for a Grand Opening celebration including a toast by CEO Ralph Scurfield and an official Smudging and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00 am. The freshly groomed runs offered smooth turns for skiers and riders, while the heated bubble seats kept everyone cozy on the ride up. As skiers ascended, the Super Angel’s quiet, steady glide provided a moment to take in the stunning scenery, adding a new level of comfort to the day’s laps.

The opening of the Super Angel LX also means more of Sunshine’s terrain is now accessible for the season, giving visitors more variety and room to enjoy all that Banff Sunshine has to offer. It’s a great start to what promises to be an iconic winter season at Sunshine Village.
