Amu Ramen Bar is the newest ramen shop addition to Banff’s culinary scene. True to its name with sleek, bar-style counter seating, you can watch the chefs create your very own ramen masterpiece. Or, enjoy their take home ramen kit – the ultimate DIY solution for the freshest ramen.

2. Chaya

This hole-in-the-wall restaurant lives right on Banff Avenue. Blink and you’ll miss it, but not to be overlooked, Chaya is a long-time local favourite. Enjoy six different types of ramen and a great selection of udon and soba.

5. Nourish Bistro

The King Kong noodles at Nourish Bistro might just be the best item on the menu, although it’s not without healthy (pun intended) competition. It’s an excellent vegetarian option with unique ingredients and flavours, while staying true to an Asian-inspired style. Pair this shareable dish with any other main for even more delicious variety.

6. Kuma Yama

Translating from Japanese to ‘Bear on the Mountain’, Kuma Yama brings the freshest tastes of Japan to Banff National Park with Lake Louise Ski Resort’s in-lodge sushi bar. Ramen Arashi has locations in both Banff and Canmore, serving up hearty portions of ramen deliciousness.
