Access granted to more sunny slopes

Shoulder season is over!  After a snowfall of 25cm over the past week, Sunshine Village opened to the public on November 14th.  The resort is currently running Strawberry Quad Chair and two Magic Carpet lifts which allow us to access 5 different runs: Snowsnake, Bountry’s Bowl, Rock Isle Road, Dell Valley and Strawberry Face as well as Strawjibberry Terrain Park.  Access to the full 1070 meters of vertical will be coming soon, so in the meantime guests will enjoy discounted window pricing.   With a healthy base of 60cm already in place, the slopes are looking inviting!

If you are curious about new developments, ski over to Tee Pee Town this season where construction has begun on a new high-speed quad chairlift which will replace the current double chair by the spring of 2015.

Sunshine Village is the second ski hill to open in Canada – just a day behind Lake Louise Ski Resort which opened November 13th.  Mount Norquay will open later in the month – weather permitting.
