8 Pet-Friendly Hotels in Banff and Lake Louise

Let's face it, vacations aren't the same unless the whole family is there, and that means bringing the pets along for the fun! Banff and Lake Louise are home to some great pet-friendly hotels, so you don't have to worry about who is looking after your favourite child while you're away.

Caribou Lodge wants your pets to be as comfortable as you and will provide a pet bed, water and food dishes, treats and even a special toy to take home! Their in-hotel restaurant has a dog-friendly patio so you can eat dinner together.

The Fairmont Banff Springs allows your pet to join you on their pet-friendly patios and even offers pet-sitting services for guests looking to spend a night away from the furkid.

Pet safety tips

  • To keep Banff National Park wild and protect our natural spaces, all dogs are to be kept on a leash unless otherwise specified. Banff has an off-leash dog park just off of Hawk Ave.
  • Remember to pick up and dispose of your dog's waste responsibly!
  • Do not leave pet food, or treats, out for wildlife to eat.

Ready for a scenic adventure with your pet?

In order to avoid disappointment, be sure to confirm the pet-friendliness of your hotel before making a reservation. Hotels may also have different policies on the number of pets permitted in each room, the type of pets allowed, and the number of pet-friendly rooms available. Call our Reservations Team at 1-844-754-2443, and we would be happy to confirm your dog-friendly accommodation.
