Snowdays Festival
Every January Banff and Lake Louise comes alive with the annual SnowDays celebration. Lake Louise turns into a glittering display of ice sculptures during Ice Magic. The streets of downtown Banff transform into larger-than-life winter galleries with giant snow sculptures to be found throughout. The thrill of skijoring can be felt by excited onlookers lining the streets of Banff Avenue and the sounds of laughter and joy can be heard echoing from the SnowDays Play Zone.
Ice Magic
Ice Magic is a world-class ice carving event set in the spectacular surroundings of Lake Louise. Watch talented ice artists carve and marvel at the finished sculptures during this 12-day event. Plus, don't forget to sip an ice-cold cocktail at the Chateau Lake Louise's famous Ice Bar - carved from over 300 pounds of ice.
Banff Park Museum
Located in the heart of Banff’s downtown, the Banff Park Museum has more than 5000 vintage botanical and zoological specimens. Kids love The Xplorers Club booklet scavenger hunt to complete across Banff National Park, perfect for ages 6-11 years old.
