Larch Splendor at Lake Louise

The leaves are starting to turn which can only mean one thing, fall. And what a spectacular display Mother Nature showcases in Banff-Lake Louise.

For those wishing to immerse themselves in amazing mountain scenery, wildlife and the coloured splendor of the larch, The Lake Louise Ski Resort has a way to quench your desires, with the ‘Lift, Lunch and Larches’ package.

“We provide an unmatched and safe opportunity to see Grizzly Bears in their natural habitat, amid some of the most stunning scenery in the world,” says Dan Markham, Director, Brand & Communications. “This weekend will be exceptionally spectacular for hikers and photographers; the Larch trees are turning bright gold, and there are sun and blue skies in the forecast.”

The ‘Lift, Lunch and Larches’ package runs until September 29 and combines a gondola or chairlift ride up Whitehorn Mountain with a chance to spot Grizzly Bears in their natural environment along the way. Once at the top, it’s a short walk to the observation platform where you can see the Rocky Mountains in all of their majestic glory and spot the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. You also can visit the nearby Wildlife Interpretive Centre, go on a guided hike or explore independently. To compliment this amazing experience indulge in a hearty buffet lunch in the Lodge of the Ten Peaks. Yet another opportunity to admire Mother Nature's handiwork from the base of the Resort.

‘Lift, Lunch and Larches’ is available from 9:30am to 6:30pm (Sept 1 - 8) and 9:30am to 4:30pm (Sept 9-29). The cost is $35.25 for adults, $20 for children and only $4.50 for those 5 and under. (Prices do not include GST). Book your tickets today by calling 1-844-754-2443 or online at www.lakelouisegondola.com.
