Snow School Supervisor – National Occupation Classification 4167

SkiBig3 specializes in providing a full destination visitor experience, from reservation to guided experiences across our three unique ski resorts; Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt. Norquay.  We are seeking a leader that can guide, support and mentor our team of highly skilled and experienced ski instructor-guides as they provide life changing moments for our guests. SkiBig3 operates an intermediate and advance level snow school with emphasis on providing guided on-mountain experiences. This unique opportunity allows collaboration with Snow School leaders from the three ski areas, while showcasing close to 8000 acres of skiable terrain to our visitors.


The Opportunity:

This is a rewarding seasonal leadership opportunity (September – May) overseeing the SkiBig3 Guided Adventure Program, Private Snow School, Gap-year and military programs.  Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Snow School Supervisor is responsible for the success of day to day operations of:


Our Programs:

  • SkiBig3 Guided Adventures
  • British Army Recreation Program
  • Gap Year – Instructor Training Program
  • Private Experiences and Lessons



Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following,

  • Lead in providing exceptional on-snow experiences to all guests
  • Provide leadership & supervision to Snow School Instructors.
  • Provide training and set-up regular internal and external on-snow training sessions and opportunities for Snow School Instructors
  • Organize groups and assign shifts based on appropriate guest needs
  • Timely communication to resort snow school leaders
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with all partners
  • Participate on-snow as needed
  • Contribute to and collaborate with our Sales and Marketing, Reservations, Accounting and HR teams
  • Work remotely as required

  • Create team atmosphere and provide team building activities



  • CSIA, Level 3 / 4 (or equivalent) and current CSIA Level 1 Course Conductor desirable (Achievement of “part certification” with-in the CSIA education stream will be considered)
  • Dual certification (CASI and or Park Certification) an asset
  • Sport & Recreation program leadership experience
  • Experience with resort, staff scheduling programs
  • CSIA member in good standing for 2018/2019 season
  • Legally able to work in Canada, either Canadian citizenship or valid work permit
  • Criminal & background check
