Throughout the off-season, the team at Banff Sunshine Village has worked closely with Alberta Health Services (AHS) on their Covid-19 operating procedures. This season, it is recommended that all guests wear a non-medical face mask, with a neck gaiter or Buff. Mask/face coverings will be mandatory on all lifts and in all facilities. For the health of the community, we kindly ask that you follow safe social distancing practices and abide by signage. For complete information see our  What to Expect online guide.

What’s Open Starting Monday, November 9th

The Sunshine Express shuttle busses running daily from Banff to Sunshine Village beginning November 9th – check out the shuttle schedule or download the SkiBig3 App to have it handy all season.

The ski and snowboard season will kick off with Angel Express, Strawberry, Wawa, Jackrabbit, and Wolverine lifts open to enjoy. If you are keen to hit the park, Strawberry will have a rail park set up with 20 features!

Dining

This season they will have grab-and-go options available for food, and select restaurants will be open. As lodge space is limited, we encourage all guests to pack their own food and choose to eat before or after the lunch rush.

Sunshine Mountain Lodge, their ski-in, ski-out boutique hotel will open on Thursday, November 12th.

Arrive Prepared

While reservations are not required to access the slopes, we recommend all guests to arrive with their Season Pass or SkiBig3 Lift Ticket. Coming with your lift ticket or pass at the ready will allow their staff to reduce the lines and wait times.

You can pick up your 2020/21 SkiBig3 Season Pass at Sunshine Village’s Calgary Snow Central (open Monday to Friday from 8 AM – 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), or at the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub in Banff. On the mountain, pick up your season pass at Guest Services. For speedy pass pick up on Opening Day, be sure to sign your online waiver in advance.

Check the conditions for opening day (and week)!
