The Innovator: Final episode of Sculpted in Time series

The forth and final short from the Sculpted in Time series of cinematic shorts is now available for viewing.

The Innovator escorts the viewer through the stunning backcountry of Banff National Park to experience stepping into the unknown – we follow two stories. Christian Bagg, was a semi-pro snowboarder before an big air accident left him a paraplegic, but that didn’t stop him one bit. Christian has been at the forefront of revolutionizing wheelchair technology, as the cofounder of Icon Wheelchairs and their chief technologist, he’s designed and built a more adjustable wheelchair. He also works for Parks Alberta and recently released a backcountry wheelchair to make parks more accessible.

You may have seen Christian Bagg on Dragon’s Den, but have you ever seen him scale a mountain in a custom ski sled? join Christian on his journey to overcome his challenges and achieve his dream of Nordic skiing in the backcountry.

Intertwined with Christian’s story of innovation and perseverance are those of skiers Chris Rubens and Eric Hjorleifson. Taking the backcountry one step further Chris and Eric descent Castle Mountain, an iconic mountain halfway between the town of Banff and Lake Louise.

The Innovator shows how adventure can push our limits, test our resolve and plot our own ‘unknown’.
