Huge Snowstorm Hits Banff-Lake Louise!
September 21, 2010: BANFF-LAKE LOUISE, Alberta, Canada

Over 20cm of snow blanketed Banff-Lake Louise today, with more forecasted. The snowstorm started yesterday and continued non-stop throughout the night. With just over a month until opening, it looks like it’s going to be a fantastic season!

The Lake Louise Ski Area: November 5
Sunshine Village: November 11
If you can’t join us for opening day, don’t worry! With one of the longest ski seasons in North America, there’s plenty of time to visit the world’s finest ski resorts. There are many exciting developments for 2010-11 at all three resorts, and in the communities of Banff and Lake Louise.
Highlights include the new Skier/Boardercross and Burton Learn to Ride at The Lake Louise Ski Area, the new Strawberry Express Quad and Creekside Restaurant at Sunshine Village, and 85th birthday celebrations at Mt. Norquay.
All this is in addition to the great facilities already offered on almost 8,000 acres of terrain over three of the world’s finest ski resorts.
