Rogers Terrain Park Open
january 17th, 2012: BANFF-LAKE LOUISE, Alberta, Canada
Sunshine Village’s immensely popular Rogers Terrain Park opened to skiers and boarders today.
Crews have been working hard in the past weeks, building numerous features in the 12 acre park. The park opened with about 14 features, including jumps and an assortment of rails and boxes.
An all-natural snowfall this season of over 400cm has given Alberta’s most popular ski and snowboard resort the snow pack it needed to build a variety of great features.
“In the past couple of years, the Rogers Terrain Park has become a Sunshine favourite,” says John Scurfield Senior Vice-President Sales, Marketing and Resort Operations. “With 51 cm of snow the past week conditions are fantastic.”
